Fee refund policy
ACIT recognizes that some students may need to withdraw from a course. The following conditions were included in the academy's original policy:
- Full refund (100%): Withdrawal before classes commence or within 3 days of enrollment, whichever is earlier, with an administrative fee deduction of ₹1,000.
- Partial refund (75%): Withdrawal within the first week of classes.
- Partial refund (50%): Withdrawal within the second week of classes.
- No refund: Withdrawal after two weeks of classes.
Course cancellation
In the event that ACIT cancels a course:
- Before commencement: A full refund is provided to enrolled students.
- After commencement: A prorated refund may be calculated based on classes conducted.
- Alternatives: The academy may offer a rescheduled course or another programme where possible.
How to request a refund
The original policy directs students to:
- Submit a written request to the administration office.
- Include enrollment number, programme details and the reason for withdrawal.
- Return study materials supplied by ACIT.
- Allow up to 14 working days for processing.
Refunds are normally processed through the original payment method unless otherwise specified.
Special circumstances
Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually:
- Medical emergencies: Documented serious illness or emergency may justify consideration beyond the standard period.
- Relocation: Unavoidable relocation may be considered case by case.
Decisions are communicated to the student in writing.
Questions or clarifications
For a refund request or clarification, contact the academy before taking action. This policy may be updated, and the version applicable to your enrollment should be confirmed with ACIT.
